My favourite singer atm, Little Boots, has been named the BBC's Sound of 2009. She's amazing, I'm currently in love with her song Meddle - and have been since I saw her perform it on Live With Jules Holland last year (haha, I say last year, but reallyt it was only a month or so ago!).
Little Boots' song Stuck On Repeat also happens to be iTunes' Single Of The Week this week, so you can download it free - but you might want to hurry because I'm not sure when this week technically ends (is it Friday or Sunday? I can never tell!).

I'm afraid I must dash because my sister's not well and is trying to get to sleep in the same room that I'm busy typing away maniacally in, but I'd just like to say Anne Frank's Diary finished on BBC One tonight. If you missed it, get your butt over to iPlayer now because it was absolutely brilliant. I was in floods at the end of the show tonight - it was so moving and emotive. Just the story in itself is so romantic, yet horrific and so sad, but the way the actors portrayed it seemed to make it even more heart-rending (if that's possible!).
It moved me so deeply that I'm going back to read the book again. It's horrible to think of the things those people went through, but at the same time I find it intriguing to find out about them; their stories and how on earth they managed to cope.
