The BBC's showing a TV adaptation of The Diary Of Anne Frank. I watched the first episode this evening and was struck by the emotion the actors conveyed through their performances. I last read the book quite a while ago, but even in the first episode managed to remind me of the beginning of Anne's story, whilst still retaining the emotion and terror that must have been going through the minds of her and her family.
I'm hooked already, and I've only seen one episode. I'll be glued to the TV for the rest of the week!

The series is five episodes long and is airing on BBC 1 at 7.30pm every night this week.
