I'm on exam leave from school now for two weeks! It'll be fun. Of course, there's the slight disadvantage of having to sit an exam almost every day, but I'll have a lot more free time than I usually would.
History and english tomorrow - I've memorised 9 quotes and 2 entire poems for english. Is it just me, or is that utterly unnecessary and pointless? When am I ever going to need to recite 'Dulce Et Decorum Est' from memory again? I'm seriously at a loss here as to how the hell this will be beneficial to me in later life. Sure, I can almost understand that writing essays and knowing when the First World War started may come in handy, but the memorising is just beyond me. It's bloody annoying.
So, because of this, I've taken a bit of a break before embarking on the immense task of revising 3 topics (each of which took over half a year to study in class - here we study for Standard Grades, which means 2 years of studying and an exam at the end, rather than the traditional one year) for history. I'm using this break to write to you and inform you of my activities over the past few days. I warn you, there aren't too many...
Yesterday, I went into town and bought a men's hoodie (size large, so it's enormous). When I got home, I cut my initials from white felt and sewed them to the front, and sewed a fabric badge I purchased when skiing in France to the top of the arm. Now I can at least pretend I've made some brilliant achievement in the sporting world...

I know may face looks weird in the first one... Something strange happened to my camera. Also watched
The Bourne Identity with my dad. I like that film. I must admit, I'm a bit of a sucker for spy/sci-fi movies. I absolutely adore
Bladerunner and
The Matrix. 'Cause I'm cool like that...
